Benefits of Membership- Employers- Cost Comparison

To see what an affordable solution Your Parttime Workforce offers, we invite you to look at the cost comparison we have prepared below. When calculating costs we have assumed the part time person is on the equivalent to an annual salary of $50,000 and is working three days a week.

  Costs to Consider Total Cost
Your Parttime Workforce At a cost of around $100 a month you can advertise your job vacancy and search the YPW database for as many candidates as you choose. You can then communicate with them directly. When you engage your employee no more fees apply and there are no restrictions on the number of employees you can engage. Post your job vacancy for one month for $50.

Access our Talent Pool of potential candidates for one month for $75.

Or do both for $100!
Recruitment Agencies Permanent Employee A placement fee is common when recruiting permanent part time employees. These fees can be a fixed dollar amount or based on a percentage of the candidate’s salary. This can be between 10% and 20%. Based on our example:
Between $3000 and $6000 per candidate you engage.
Recruitment/ Employment Agencies
Contract Workers
When using contract workers you are required to cover not only the cost of the candidate’s salary but also a percentage markup for the agency providing them. This markup can be 20%, 40% or more. Based on our example:
Between $6000 and $12,000 a year for each candidate you engage or between $100 and $200 per day for each person

Online Advertising
There are a number of online job posting websites and it can be time consuming sorting through and contacting candidates. Access to the YPW comprehensive Talent Pool of part time candidates with the opportunity to shortlist using very specific search criteria makes YPW the smart choice. Between $100 and $170 for a one month listing.
Newspaper Professional Appointment Classified advertising Small to medium print advertisement in a weekend paper. Cost is payable every time you want to place the advertisement. A cost to write the advertisement also applies. $1000 to $5000
Community Newspaper Classified Advertising For a small advertisement in one community newspaper for one week. $122 per week

It should be noted that Recruitment and Employment agencies have widely varying fees which may be higher or lower than those detailed above. The information above is indicative only. You may like to contact a recruitment agency of your choice to complete your own cost comparison.
